She missed my e-card cause she went home for christmas, ah, home for christmas- I think its only 5 hours away for her.
I must call her tonight.
Gee, just when I though no one loved me again, I got a call from Marc, and my bro and an email from Kate all in one week, not bad for living at the end of the earth.
or so it feels.
I made some headway in the whole plane ticket fiasco yesterday- Austravel have a good price.
I let my fingers do the walking an called just about every travel agent in the phone book.
Its surprising how much the service differs, some places I would'nt book with on principal just because of how they answered the phone- crap I tell ya.
Anyway, Austravel werent that much better because I called them for a quote, then said I would call back if I wanted to buy it. However when I called back they were busy with clients so they said they would call me.
I sat in on a beautiful day for 4 hours waiting, then I thought "fuck it" and went down to the pool for a swim and sauna.
When I came back and rang them again they were still busy and said they would call me back in five- still an hour came and went (by that time it was after 5pm) and I thought, "Fuck it" now I'll have to call them Monday, that ticket better still be there!
They have me over a barrel though because it was the cheapest- £647 including tax from Glasgow, I dont think I'll get much better than that.
I rented two good films last night- Mulholland Drive and Unfaithful.
How many Aussies are in Mulholland Drive?
Angel from Home and Away is Camille Rhodes (or is she?) and there is Marcus Graham (wasnt he in E-Street, shoot me!) oh and Naomi Watts.
Shall I do the Aussie chant?
No,I think I can restrain myself.
Unfaithful was bloody good, I just wish I had've rented something more upbeat to watch after Mulholland Drive.
I had really weird dreams.
God, David Lynch and DM. The first time DM came over to my house we watched Blue Velvet, well kinda, I put my head on DM's lap and fell asleep.
He couldnt figure out how I could fall asleep during Blue Velvet- he was left to sit there and freak out by himself- hee.
Oh and then there was the David Lynch project at uni that never seemed to end, I think Ive seen all of his films now.
Still The Straight Story is my favourite- the least "Lynch" one of them all.
What does that say about me?
