Busy couple of weeks!
I honestly believe that what you put out there comes back to you, so the minute I decide " Its time to get a life"
Life gets me!
I spied this in the Edinburgh Festival guide: 48hourfilmchallenge
So I suggested it to Coops expecting that he would um and ah about it, but he was totally into it- so we're doing it!
We've written a few different scripts to fit any genre, dont want to give too much away, I mean what if we dont finish?!!
But hey, its now taken on a life of its own as Coops cant help telling random people about it!
We had to advertise for volunteers anyway and 3 blokes from our work have volunteered. We met one of them tonight and he seems cool- he's in a play at the moment. Quirky guy but seems into it.
Were missing a female lead though which is a total worry! Hopefully we find someone in the next two weeks!
So yeah, any fellow film admiring gals in the Edinburgh area who want to join in let me know!
Yeah what else?
I havent moved out yet- still getting the references sorted and still petrified, but thanks for your nice thoughts.
And I made a new friend! This girl, also from my work (which is huge, employs hundreds of people), shes from Brussels and also wants to go home but has a boyfriend of four years.
While working overtime on Saturday we had a big deep and meaningful about it and decided that we should meet for non drinking related activities (both tired of the OTT drinking culture here)
and yeah, in between that Im working as many hours overtime as I can due to bad, bad financial woes and doing my course as well!
Tomorrow is G's birthday and Ive hardly organised anything!
I Feel really shitty about that because I think he feels left out of my life a bit at the moment.
It never rains it pours.
