I've taken them as holidays so I can finish my course. I was going to carry over my maximum of 4 days into next year, then come back home again for a month to visit y'all, but I changed my mind

Here's the plan:

Finish course

Get better job

Pay off debts

Come home for good

I've tried relating my plan to G but it isnt going well, probably because of the wishy-washy way that I approach these things.

But it wont come as too much of a shock to him when I have it all straight, on account of the fact Ive been a total misery guts for months now.

We had a conversation the other night about the cost of houses here. He came over with some schedules of flats he wants to look at and we got talking about his boss who is selling his 2 bedroom flat for £215,000, a £100,000 profit on what he bought it for last year.

I said that that there is no way we could even afford £100,000 let alone two, and theres no way I want to stay here and live in a hovel for my entire life.

Subtle no?

I said "Im really serious about this"

He said "I know"

Then rolled over and went to sleep.
