Bryan Brown eh? When is America going to get sick of the Aussie "Risk taking, live by the seat of their pants" stereotype?

I was, however, impressed by the number of antipodeans that featured on the Oscars last night.

From the man that brought you Bad Taste and Braindead- 11 Oscars! And all done in New Zealand, though with American money I suppose.

Still, I was speaking to a friend from New Zealand the other day about her holiday home, where she commented that she felt very isolated being back on that side of the world. I felt a bit like that too.

But the Oscars just go to show that you can still "make it" from isolation, so that was impressive.

I found Billy Crystal revolting, that opening number was so cringe worthy I almost left the room. Infact most of it was pretty cringe worthy, but I suppose thats awards for you.

Ive had this dehydration headache now for the last two days! At work I have a 1.5 litre bottle of water on my desk, which I refill twice a day. When Im at home though I just cant stomach the taste of water so Im constantly dehydrated and my head is thumping!

Get this: i just had to clean up dogshit from the communal stair! Fuck these people, honestly.

I came home yesterday to pick up some things and saw it in the hallway leading to the back yard and someone had blocked the door to outside with some wood. So obviously someone had noticed that a dog from round about had come in from the communal backyard and shat in the stair. But did they clean it? Of course not, they just left it there and blocked the door with wood? Why? I ask you, why?

So today I have come home to grab some work clothes to take back to G's and its still there! So I just fucking cleaned it.

What is wrong with people?

And why do people over here think its acceptable to have carpet in the bathroom and kitchen? I mean, no matter how careful you are, your bathroom will always get wet and you will always drop at least one food item on your kitchen floor. I got down on my hands and knees yesterday and scrubbed the carpet in my kitchen and it still looks manky, I swear it better not come out of my bond. It serves these people right for not having tiles! Weirdos!

Ahhhhh, I feel better for that gripe.

Now to drink some water and go on my merry way back to a flat with cable TV
